Capt. Jeff has fished all over as a Captain and a mate. Including the Florida Keys,
The Bahamas, Ft. Lauderdale, and Boca Grande where his love for Tarpon fishing
began in 1990. Shortly after, Jeff started his business at prestious
Capt. Anderson's Marina in Panama City Beach, Fl . Now he runs over
250 trips per year and is the President of the Panama City Beach Guides
Association. With too many tournament wins and places to list,
Jeff prefers to target Speckled Trout, Redfish, Tarpon, Cobia and
Mackerel with live bait but occasionally he throws plugs, Jigs and
Flys to certain species.
There are no guarantees in fishing but Jeff gives 100 percent
on every outing and has not been fishless on any trip in thousands of outings.
Captain Jeff Moormann grew up on the back waters of Panama City fishing,
crabbing, floundering, and oystering. His love and talent for fishing
became evident at an early age by charter fishing in his teen years.
He worked as a deckhand for legendary local fisherman: Harold Lee, Sandy Ware,
Leroy Parish, Bob Miley, Mike Miller, Buck Archer, and Ed Maulding.
He is also an accomplished fisherman. Various types of fishing are available year round,
but the spring and fall seasons offer the best angling.
Capacity: 1 to 4 passengers
Trip Lengths: 4, 6 or 8 hours.
Types of trips: light tackle for Cobia, Tarpon, Trout, Redfish, Bluefish, and Mackerel
What to Bring: All bait and tackle is provided.
Your food and beverages are not provided.
Rates: The base rate for this vessel is for 1 to 4 passengers.
Additional Information: The departure times are 7:00am and 11:00am.
